How do I sign up?

Online pre-registration is required.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Payment is taken at the time of registration. Credit or debit cards only. Instructions are listed in the registration portal. Please note: registration fees for our programs are utilized to support the Fulton Schools of Engineering’s Outreach and Recruitment operations and scholarship programs. Your investment also includes all required participant materials that will be mailed to your home before the start of camp, as applicable.

Are camps completely virtual?

Camps sessions will consist of: (1) presentations by instructors; (2) self-paced hands on activity; (3) consultation with instructors and camp counselors; (4) mini-presentations of student projects. All are virtual format except for the hands-on activity. Participants must have computer a stable internet connection and a webcam with a microphone and access to ZOOM virtual conferencing

How much time will my child spend on the computer?

Depending on the camp, participants will be online with the camp instructor and counselors at least 30 minutes and up to 90 minutes per sitting.

What measures are you taking to ensure online safety?

Staffing: all virtual sessions will be managed by three (3) ASU staff members at all times. All staff must pass a background check and complete Minors on Campus training in order to work with the campers.

Virtual environment: all sessions will be conducted in a secure, password protected Zoom virtual meeting room.

What happens after I register?

You will receive an automated confirmation e-mail that contains a link to your registration details and a modify registration link. Please save this e-mail. Additional details such as log-in instructions will be sent out at least 1 week prior the start of camp.

Is there a limit to the number of camps I can select?

There is no limit to the number of camps for which you can register. However, please be mindful of grade levels and prerequisite knowledge before signing up your child.

Who teaches the camps?

Camps are developed and taught by education professionals such as K-12 teachers, engineering staff holding BSE or MSE degrees in engineering, ASU STEM Professionals, and college professors. Camps may be supported or lead by a camp counselor who is an ASU student. All staff must pass a background check and complete Minors on Campus training in order to work with the campers.

What is your cancellation policy?

For LEGO camps: If your child is no longer able to attend, you may cancel your registration up to 2 weeks before the first day of camp (kits are shipped 2 weeks prior to camp starting). Refunds will be issued in the form of the original payment minus a $10 fee. No refunds after kits have been shipped.

My child has registered for a camp that includes materials to be shipped to our home. When will I receive them?

Kits are shipped from ASU no later than 2 weeks before the start of the camp. Due to current circumstances and the holidays, shipping times vary and you may receive the kit 2 weeks before the camp or 2 days before the camp. If you have not received your materials 2 days before the camp session starts, please contact our team at 480-965-2272 or

What will my child learn?

Each camp is different. Lessons and hands-on activities align with various STEM concepts, etc. Whichever camp you choose, your child is sure to take away transferable knowledge and skills.

My child is only 1 year younger than the minimum grade level requirement. Can you make an exemption?

To help facilitate an effective learning environment, grade levels for each camp are determined based on prerequisite knowledge and developmental level. Feel free to email us at if you have any questions.
